She co-founded this company with a mission to assist individuals who may lack nearby family support or need additional help, especially given today’s demanding schedules. The company specializes in comprehensive relocation services, ranging from state-to-state moves to transitions into care facilities.

Kim’s career began with a decade of in-home care, followed by five years in social services within skilled care, and three and a half years in admissions. For the past 13 years, she has excelled as an Executive Director in assisted living, leading with both compassion and expertise. Outside of her professional life, Kim is a proud mother of three daughters and a grandmother to five grandsons, with a sixth grandson on the way.

Stacy Schoonover also has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, where she has consistently provided exceptional care and support. Her career has spanned multiple roles, including Bookkeeper, Social Service Director, and Administrator for rehab and nursing home facilities, as well as Vice President of Operations for memory and assisted living communities. She has also served as Executive Director of an independent, assisted living, and memory care community, bringing a comprehensive understanding of senior care to her work.

As co-founder of Compassion Travelers, she embarked on a new mission to enrich the lives of seniors. Stacy understands the significance of life’s special moments—whether fulfilling a dream trip, attending a family gathering, celebrating a milestone, or ensuring that important care appointments are met. With her deep well of personal and professional experience, Stacy brings both passion and expertise to her work. An avid traveler who has visited Europe multiple times, she balances her love of exploring the world with her dedication to her career. Known for her relentless work ethic and her remarkable ability to connect with people, Stacy brings warmth and understanding to every interaction.
