- What if I need specialized care?
We can assist with non-medical needs. We provide a companion that can remind and make sure you are taking the correct medication, provide incontinence assistance, assist with showering, and provide supervised care as needed.
- What if I am too old to rent a car while traveling or I don’t drive?
No problem, our Compassion Travelers do all the driving and renting a car. There are some countries that have made it so that someone over 85 years old cannot rent a car. We will pick you up from your home and continue the trip of your choice and destination and return you back home when complete.
- I want to move my elderly family member close to me, but I can’t take off the time to do it.
We offer a service that will travel to your loved one and assist with the packing needs and travel back with them to their new home.
- Do I need my doctor to sign off on my travel?
No
- Do you provide hourly service like day trips?
Sometimes travel may be closer to drive, then flying or you need assistance with doctor’s visits or have a special event more local. We provide a minimum of 4 hours, for up to trips that may end up being overnight. We can provide services to anywhere you desire to go. We can even fly to you to make this trip happen. - Tell me about your Compassion Travelers?
Compassion Travelers is owned by two ladies who have both been in the healthcare industry for over 30 years each and are part of the Travel team. We have worked with the senior generation in most if not all of our careers. We both have managed 30 plus employees and have a passion to have the best of the best Travelers to work for us. All of our employees have their fingerprints completed and are bonded and insured. They all have the experience to meet the needs of our clients.
- What type of trips do you do?
Hourly services: Ideal for shorter outings and appointments.
Overnight services: Ensuring comfort and assistance during extended stays.
3-day, 5-day, and 7-day services: Tailored to accommodate various event durations.
Extended services beyond 7 days: For longer trips
Relocation assistance. - Our clients use us for:
Travel to another state for weddings, celebration of life events, reunions, family time, relocation services, vacations to anywhere including cruises, medical appointments for specialist care. Some clients just do not want to travel alone but want to take that bucket list vacation that they otherwise would not be able to do alone.
- How much does this service cost?
Each client will have different needs and we will discuss in detail what type of service you need. All travel expenses are paid by you and then an adjusted rate is added depending on what type of travel need you have.
- Do you provide services for Couples?
Yes, we do, again it just depends on your needs and how we can help you get to your desired location safely.
